The 2017 season will be Jamie Scott's second season as the top assistant coach at La Salle after earning that designation last June. Scott was first promoted to assistant in 2015 after spending the previous three seasons as a volunteer assistant. Â
With the help of Scott, the Explorers captured Atlantic 10 regular season titles in 2012 and 2014 and consecutive A-10 tournament championships in 2012 and 2013. The Blue and Gold have also made three NCAA Tournament appearances since Scott’s arrival.Â
During the summer of 2012, Scott served as the top Assistant Coach for the Philadelphia Fever women's soccer team that competed in the Women’s Premier Soccer League Elite against teams like the Chicago Red Stars, Boston Breakers and the Western NY Flash.
Scott came to La Salle from the women’s soccer program at Rosemont College, where he served as an Assistant Coach with the Ravens during their inaugural season in 2011.
Scott has also been a coach at the Penn Fusion Soccer Academy since 2012, and now serves as Assistant Director of Coaching.
The London, United Kingdom native has been coaching with local youth soccer teams in the tri-state area since graduating with Honors from Bournemouth University (England) with a degree in Leisure Marketing in 2007.
