Top Drawer Soccer recognized Hennessey as a "Player to Watch" in each of the last three seasons.

Hennessey on choosing La Salle: "When I visited La Salle for the first time I knew it was the place for me. I liked the atmosphere on campus and all of the people."

Coach Royal on Hennessey: "We're delighted to have found Kat at such a late point in the recruiting process.  After seeing Kat at our Elite Soccer Clinic here at La Salle, we believe Kat has the potential to become a 3-4 year starter as well as one of the hardest working/fittest players in our program's history.  Her exceptional technical speed and excellent 1v1 defensive tendencies will give her an opportunity to impact our squad right away.  We feel that Kat will flourish next season under the leadership of Jessie Wiggins and Kerri Aiken. Kat's character, attitude and desire to become the best player she can be will also show younger players coming into our program what it takes to become a high level person and athlete."
