Mike Kirk of the men’s soccer team has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week after helping the Explorers pick up two road wins last week, including 1-0 win over #25/21 UMBC on Saturday night

Kirk had six saves in a 2-1 win over Rider on Tuesday before collecting his third shutout of the year in the win over UMBC. The Mechanicsburg, Pa. native had eight saves for the week, a .50 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage. 

The Explorers are on a three-game winning streak and have allowed just one goal in that stretch.
