PHILADELPHIA- La Salle volleyball sophomore Hannah McGary has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week. The Santa Rosa, California native set a program record with eight aces in a five set win over UMBC on Tuesday night. This was the Explorers first win over the Retrievers in their last seven tries. McGary added 13 kills while hitting .444 in the win. On the week she averaged .92 aces per set, 2.08 kills per set while adding three blocks and a .257 hitting percentage. La Salle returns to action on Saturday as they head to Pittsburgh to take on Duquesne.
