Katie Getzinger of the women’s soccer team has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week after helping La Salle collect their first conference win with a 1-0 defeat of Davidson on Sunday. 

Getzinger tallied her third shutout of the season in the win on the way to a .45 goals-against average and six saves last week. The redshirt senior allowed just one goal, which came in the 110th minute against UMass on Thursday, against 29 shots faced in the two games.
