Suzanne Swanicke was named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Swanicke hit .667 on the week (10-for-15) with 11 RBI’s and five runs scored as La Salle went 4-1 on the week. Six of the 10 hits were for extra bases, including three homers, on the way to a 1.467 slugging percentage.

The senior homered and doubled in each game of a doubleheader sweep at Saint Louis on Sunday after going 6-for-6 with two runs and five RBI’s in a double header sweep of Drexel on Wednesday. The Yardley, Pa. native had an on-base percentage of .706 for the week .
