PHILADELPHIA – The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced that lacrosse freshman Kelly Furman has earned Rookie of the Week honors. Furman is also La Salle’s Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
The Boyertown, Pa. native scored two goals and added two assists to help the Explorers to a 2-0 week.
 
La Salle notched a 16-10 win over Howard, as well as a 9-8 victory over Delaware.

This is the second straight week that La Salle was honored by the A-10 after Clarie Andrews was tabbed last weeek's Rookie of the Week.
 
The Explorers will next face Lafayette tonight at 7:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
