Senior lacrosse goalie Megan Corliss has been named the Atlantic 10’s Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference today.

Corliss has also been named La Salle’s Student-Athlete of the Week.

She helped the Explorers to a 2-0 week, including wins over Duquesne and St. Bonaventure, while La Salle tied a program record for wins in a season with nine.

Corliss posted a 10.00 goals against average and .535 save percentage.   She made 24 stops on the weekend and broke the La Salle record for career saves.  The Blue Bell, Pa. native currently has 422 saves in her career.

This is the second straight week that Corliss has been named the league’s Defensive Player of the Week and the third time overall this season.
