Renee Washington has been awarded La Salle Student Athlete of the Week honors for her two-goal performnace in La Salle's 2-0 season-opening victory over Delaware on Sunday. 

Washington struck first in the 49th minute on a well-struck shot just underneath the crossbar. 

Fifteen minutes later a good buildup by the Explorers led to another Washington goal, putting La Salle comftorably in front en route to their first victory of the 2011 season. 

The goals for Washington are the 13th and 14th of her career.
