Freshman Mary Cate Scott made a statement in her first three appearances in the circle for the Explorers' softball squad. The Quakertown, Pa. native pitched 16.3 innings in three games, giving up just three runs in which only two were earned. With just eight hits and twelve strikeouts, Scott is proving to be a tremendous asset to the program. 

Scott's record improved to 3-0 with wins against Detroit Mercy, Sacred Heart, and Holy Cross.
