Nationally Ranked Women's Soccer Looks to Remain Unbeaten at Charlotte, Saint Louis this Weekend

Weekly Notes

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's soccer team can solidfy its position in next month's Atlantic 10 Tournament this weekend when they take on a pair of conference teams on the road.

The Explorers (13-0-1, 5-0-0) will fly south and face off against Charlotte on Friday night at Transamerica Field.  The 49ers (5-7-4, 2-2-1) knocked La Salle out of the postseason a year ago with a 3-1 victory in the A-10 semis.

On Sunday, La Salle will travel to the midwest and take on Saint Louis at Hermann Stadium. The Explorers are 0-2-1 against the Billikens all-time.

The voters continue to be impressed with what La Salle has done this season as the Explorers continued to climb the polls.  La Salle jumped three spots from No. 22 to No. 19 in Soccer America's Top 25 and have reached all the way up to No. 27 in Top Drawer Soccer's Top 64 Rankings.

In the official NCAA RPI, La Salle gained another 10 spots and jumped from No. 31 to No. 21.  The Explorers also have garnered 34 votes from the NSCAA Coaches and currently sit just outside the Top 25 poll.
