PHILADELPHIA – The Explorers fell to Drexel, 185.5-110.5, in their second meet of the season at the Drexel Pool on Saturday afternoon.
Senior
Austin Thomas swam a fast 20.82 to win the 50-free and then took the 100-fly in 50.65.
Freshman
Stefan Sharpe won his second straight 1000-free, lowering his time from yesterday to 9:57.51.
Zach Anderson swam a competitive race with Drexel's David Boodey in the 500-free, finishing five hundredths of a second behind him at 4:51.25.
The Explorers won the 400-free relay in 3:09.94 with swims by Thomas,
Brian Batson,
Daniel Fitzgerald and
Cameron Cabrera.
The team fell in the 200-medley relay.
In the diving competition,
Jordan Baker came in second in both the 1-meter (180.40) and 3-meter (274.27).
La Salle will return to action on November 5 when travels to Buffalo, N.Y. to face St. Bonaventure and Duquesne.
