BOSTON - The men's varsity eight, competing for the second straight year at the prestigious Head of the Charles, posted a strong result as the boat came in 14th out of 39 boats on Saturday afternoon.
The V8 raced a time of 15:54.842, edging Wesleyan by just eight-hundredths of a second. Williams College took the race with a time of 15:09.568.

The Head of the Charles is the world's largest two-day rowing event and started in 1965. More than 8,000 athletes compete in the three-mile-long head race.
