Women's Results

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The women's indoor track and field team kicked off their 2011-2012 campaign at the Jack Pyrah Invitational on Friday evening at Alumni Fieldhouse.

Tori Pisco and her first place finish in the mile race led the Explorers.

The sophomore crossed the finish line first with a time of 5:34.70. She was followed by two freshman Explorers, Karim Brooks and Britteni Simpson. Brooks crossed the line in 2nd with a time of 5:42.34. Simpson finished in 3rd place with a time of 5:45.50.

Sophomore Shanice Johnson finished in 4th place in the long jump. Her best mark was her first jump of the day with a jump of 17' 4”.

The Explorers will have over a month to prepare for their next meet on January 20th at the Georgetown Invitational.
