PHILADELPHIA - Five Explorers have been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association 2011 Academic Honor Roll, as announced recently by the organization.

Sara Ciaverelli, Alura Costa, Melissa DiTomo, Jacquelyn Jamrogowicz and Mara Schnellenbach were La Salle's representatives on the list.

The selection was made based on school nominations.  All nominees must have achieved junior academic status.

The Division I Honor Roll consisted of 187 athletes from 65 different institutions.
