PHILADELPHIA - The Explorers will travel to Newark, N.J. for a mid-week match at NJIT's Fleisher Athletic Center.  The match is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

This will be the Blue and Gold's eighth consecutive match on the road.

La Salle is coming off play in the Lehigh/Lafayette Invitational where Samantha Tulskie was selected to the All-Tournament Team. The junior averaged nearly 3 digs per game and had nine kills against Lafayette on Friday evening.

The Highlanders have lost their last four matches, including all three at the Seton Hall Tournament over the weekend.  They are allowing opponents to hit .248 against them.

Janet Snell and Camilla Tinari combine to lead NJIT's attack with 3.16 and 2.63 kills/set, respectively.  Setter Anna Mercado posts over nine assists per set.

The teams have played common opponents this season in Fairleigh Dickinson, Princeton and Lehigh.  While the Explorers recorded losses against all three team, NJIT went 1-2, picking up a five-set victory over Lehigh on September 6.

After facing the Highlanders, the Explorers will open their Atlantic 10 slate on the road at Dayton and Xavier this weekend.
