La Salle dropped its second straight overtime game last Friday with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Towson. Janel Paukovits scored the only goal, her second, for the Explorers.

Freshman goalkeeper Lisa Shaffer is the reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week. She made nine saves versus Towson and is second in the conference in saves per game (7.7) and save percentage (.771). She is 14th and 17th, respectively, in the nation in those categories.

Today's contest marks the first game in a four-game road trip in which the Explorers will visit Penn, Sacred Heart and Bryant.

The Blue and Gold is 4-0 all-time versus Saint Francis (Pa.) and has outscored SFU 9-1 in the four meetings. Head coach Michelle Marks earned her first collegiate win in 2009 against the Red Flash.
