PHILADELPHIA - The Explorer Baseball team took to the Ben Franklin Parkway early Sunday morning to run a 5K run in support of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and its ongoing juvenile cancer research. The team has been supporting the "A Smile for Kyle" organization for the past 3 years at the event. A Smile For Kyle is named on behalf of Kyle Gray, a boy who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer at the age of three. After several rounds of treatment, he is free of the disease, however, the fundraising continues as relapse is probable.
