BOSTON - The La Salle men's varsity eight crew competed in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta once again this fall, posting a top 25 finish on Sunday afternoon in Boston.

The men's eight, coxed by Dan Carmody, finished 23rd out of 37 boats competing on Sunday. The Explorers were the second of four Atlantic 10 boats to cross the finish line, finishing just three spots off of city rival Saint Joseph's. The Explorers clocked a 16:49.78, less than five seconds behind the Hawks. Virginia won the race in 15:34.20.

The Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) is the largest two-day regatta in the world, with nearly 9,000 athletes competing.
