Women's Soccer Finishes up Regular Season Schedule with Saint Joseph's, Temple this Weekend

PHILADELPHIA – After dropping its first game in over six weeks, La Salle women's soccer looks to rebound by closing out its  regular season against crosstown rivals Saint Joseph's and Temple this weekend.

While La Salle's 15-game home unbeaten streak was snapped earlier this week, the Explorers 15-game conference unbeaten streak remains intact and currently stands as the nation's fifth-longest in that category.

Scouting the Explorers

La Salle dropped a non-conference heavyweight bout to Princeton 2-1 on Monday night, allowing a goal less than four minutes into overtime. Anna Dolhansky netted the lone goal for the Explorers, her fifth of the season while Renee Washington was credited with her sixth assist of the year.

As a team, La Salle ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in shots/game (17.53), goals/game (2.00), and assists/game (2.06). The Explorers have recorded six team shutouts on the season, which ranks third in the conference.

Sophomore F Kelsey Haycook is La Salle's top point generator with 20, ranking sixth individually in the A-10. Sophomore MF Maryam Huseini has registered seven assists on the season, good for third-most in the conference.
