PHILADELPHIA – La Salle women's soccer secures sole possession of the Atlantic 10 regular season with a hard fought 0-0 draw against conference foe Temple on Sunday afternoon. The Explorers outshot the owls 38-8 in the contest, recording 22 shots in the second half alone.
 
Explorer keeper Gabby Pakhtigian recorded five saves on the way to her eighth shutout of the season, placing her second in the single-season category all-time. 
 
Temple currently ranks first in the A-10 in saves, adding 15 saves from today's match to their previous season total of 152. 
 
La Salle (14-4-1/8-0-1) wraps up the regular season with an undefeated record in conference play for the second straight season and the top seed in the Atlantic 10 tournament on Rhode Island's campus later this week. 
 
Official seeding for the Atlantic 10 Championship will be announced later this evening.
