SAINT LOUIS, Mo. - Behind a .380 team hitting percentage (57 kills-8 errors-129 attempts), Saint Louis swept La Salle 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-18) on Saturday evening at Chaifetz Pavilion.

Breanna Mazalewski led the Explorer defensive charge, posting a match-high 18 digs while adding two assists. Kelly Scanlon recorded a team-high 13 kills (.400) and chipped in with eight digs. Samantha Tulskie was one kill shy (nine kills [.171], 14 digs) of her 16th double-double of the season. Rachel Melich posted a team-high 14 assists and Michelle Healy added 12.

La Salle hit .192 (34 kills-11 errors-120 attempts) as a team, including a .324 clip (15 kills-3 errors-37 attempts) during the hard fought second frame. The Billikens edged the Explorers in digs 71-55 and team blocks 4-3.

The Explorers (4-25, 0-13) travel to Temple on Friday (5 p.m.) in its season finale.
