NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior goalkeeper
Megan Corliss has been named the Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office today.
Corliss posted a 8.50 goals against average and .500 save percentage to help La Salle earn a pair of wins over Villanova and San Diego State and close out its non-conference schedule at 7-2.
The Blue Bell, Pa. native made 11 saves against San Diego State and six against Villanova.
In the latest Division I National Rankings, Corliss is 5
th nationally in save percentage on the season (.532) and 20
th in goals against average with a 9.17.
Also joining Corliss on the honor roll is Massachusetts's Katie Ferris, the Player of the Week and Duquesne's Clare Hurley, the Rookie of the Week.
