Roxbury, MA- The Explorers competed in the ECAC D1 Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend. Meghan McGlinchey and the Distance Medley Relay led the Explorers.
 
McGlinchey finished in fourth place in the 5000 meter race. She crossed the line with a time of 16:33.22. That time is a personal best for McGlinchey in the indoor season of the 5k race.
 
The DMR finished with in sixth place overall. The team of Wendy Hutchinson, Lolita Thomas, Elizabeth Walker and Caitlin Storbeck finished just seconds before A-10 rival St. Joseph's. The Explorers were the first Atlantic 10 team to cross the finish line.
 
Out of the 50 teams competing the Explorers finished tied for 30^th with the points that they earned from McGlinchey and the Distance Medley Relay.
