She came up big for the Explorers in their overtime win against Duquesne on Friday. With 40 seconds left in regulation, the Runnemede, N.J. native put the Explorers up by a goal. However, Duquesne scored to force overtime.
The teams traded overtime goals, but a free position shot from Brostrand with 38 seconds to play gave La Salle the 12-11 victory.
