COMPLETE RESULTS

PHILADELPHIA - The Explorers battled city rivals in the Bergen Cup today on the Schuylkill River. The men's program had boats entered in the Varsity Eight, Varsity Four, Pair and Freshman/Novice Eight.

The Pair continued success this spring by placing second with a time of 7:38.6, ahead of Philadelphia and Villanova. First place went to Drexel at 7:33.9. 

The Varsity Four took third place with a time of 7:07.4, only four seconds away from second place Temple (7:03.5). First place went to Philadelphia. The Explorers finished ahead of Drexel and Saint Joseph's.

Also crossing the line in third place was the Varsity Eight. The boat stopped the clock at 6:17.5. First place went to Drexel (6:04.9) and second place went to Temple (6:09.2). Saint Joseph's and Villanova finished in fourth and fifth respectively.

Taking second place, out of two boats, the Freshman/Novice Eight clocked in at 6:46.1 behind Drexel (6:15.0).

The Explorers have next weekend off and return to action for the last race of the season, The Dad Vail Regatta May 11-12.
