PHILADELPHIA - Two-time Atlantic 10 individual outdoor champion Meghan McGlinchey was honored once again by being named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team.

The Speech/Language/Hearing major completed a stellar season this weekend. She captured two outdoor gold medals, sweeping the long distance events in winning the 5K and 10K at the Atlantic 10 Championship and setting a new A-10 meet record in the 10K. She also won the league title in the indoor 5K this year.

McGlinchey was a NCAA East Region qualifier, running the eighth-best 10K time in the region this season. Her time of 33:46.04 at the Stanford Invitational also ranked her 21st in the nation heading into this weekend.

During the indoor season, she captured three gold medals in regular season meets along with a facility record at Navy.

In the fall, McGlinchey earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors in cross country while helping the Explorers to their first team title since 2007.
