HARRISBURG, Pa. - La Salle rising junior Tyler Fewell shot a two-over 74 at The Colonial Golf & Tennis Club to earn a spot in the Pennsylvania Golf Association Open Championship last week. The Harrisburg, Pa. native tied for 17th in the field and will take on the state's best golfers on August 13-15 at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

Fewell was one-under on the front with a birdie on the par four third hole and an eagle on the par five fifth. Two bogeys left him with a 35 through nine holes. He carded a 39 on the back for his 74.

As a sophomore for La Salle, Fewell recorded a 78.2 stroke average with a low of 72.
