PHILADELPHIA – La Salle women's soccer looks to improve to 2-0 on the season in its home opener against Iona at 4 p.m on Saturday, August 25^th at McCarthy Stadium.
 
The Explorers (1-0-0) have the upper hand heading into the match owning a (5-0-1) all-time record against the Gaels, however, this will be the first time the two teams have met since 1995.
 
La Salle was chosen first in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Mid-Atlantic Poll and leads the receiving votes category in the association's national poll.
