PHILADELPHIA - La Salle volleyball fell 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-18) to Rhode Island on Saturday afternoon at Tom Gola Arena.

The Rams (5-9, 1-1 A-10) hit .293 as a team and held the Explorers to a .135 clip en route to the sweep. The visitors edged La Salle in kills (49-35) and assists (46-35).

Kelly Scanlon was the leading point-getter for the blue and gold (11) and was the lone Explorer to finish with double-digit kills (10). Breanna Mazalewski recorded a match-high 14 digs while Kelly Perillo chipped in with 12 and Samantha Tulskie added 10. 

The Explorers (3-14, 0-2 A-10) have nearly a week off before hosting A-10 rivals Dayton (Fri. 28, 7PM) and Xavier (Sat. 29, 1PM) next weekend.
