PHILADELPHIA – Women's soccer opens Atlantic 10 play at McCarthy Stadium this weekend, hosting St. Bonaventure at 7 p.m. on Friday, September 28 and Duquesne on Sunday, September 30 at 1 p.m.
Scouting the Explorers
La Salle is riding a three-game win streak during which they've netted an impressive nine goals from seven different Explorers. The Blue and Gold have outshot their opponents 147-86 this season and outscored the competition 21-13.
La Salle has not lost a game at McCarthy Stadium dating back to October 29, 2010.

Scouting the Bonnies
The Bonnies have won their last three straight games by one-goal margins in part thanks to senior defender and Atlantic 10 Player of the Week Shannon Van Riper who scored the game-winning goal over Niagara and the game-tying goal against Canisius.
The most recent meeting between the two squads was in 2010 when La Salle defeated the Bonnies in a thrilling 2-1 double overtime victory. Then-freshman Anna Dolhansky scored both Explorer goals in the victory and La Salle keeper Gabby Pakhtigian recorded eight saves.

Scouting the Dukes
Senior midfielder Morgan Herbert leads her squad in goals (5) and points (12) this season, including the game-winning goal in the 85th minute against Cleveland State last week.
The Explorers last faced Duquesne in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship, coming back from a 1-0 deficit to win 2-1 off two goals by then-freshman Renee Washington.
