Navy Day Results
PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle rowing program opened its fall season on the Schuylkill River on Saturday, competing in the annual Navy Day Regatta.
The Explorers challenged themselves in the first race of the season, rowing only in the varsity races including men's and women's fours, two men's eights and two women's eights.

Sarah Kanefsky secured the highest finish of all the Explorer boats, crossing the finish line 16th in the open eight race. The crew clocked a 14:54.11. Navy won the race with a time of 13:17.07. Another eight competed in the race, finishing in 15:19.87 for 19th place. The boat included rowers

The women also rowed a V4, finishing in 18:50.40 for 20th place. The boat included

The men's side included two V8's in the open race. One boat finished 29th with a time of 13:28.67, which included rowers Dan Carmody,

Angelie Itaas. The second boat crossed in 13:49.18 for 31st, including

Nichole Isola. Penn won the race in 11:40.37.
The men's V4finished 19th with a time of 15:22.27. Rowers included

Maria Urban. Navy won the race in 12:36.96.
