PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's 4x800m relay team crossed the finish line fifth in their heat on Saturday afternoon at the Penn Relays. The squad clocked a 8:55.18 in the event, finishing ahead of Iona and Johns Hopkins, who came in sixth and seventh, respectively.

Cayleigh Solano, Elizabeth Walker, Tori Pisco, and Wendy Hutchinson registered the time for the Blue and Gold in a heat won by Western Michigan at 8:48.40. Saint Joseph's was the only Atlantic 10 school in the heat, coming in 21^st with a 9:16.09

Molly Mickle took home the top time in the 5000m meter run, registering a PR with a 18:25.35 showing.

Shanice Johnson clocked a PR in the 100m with a 12.84, good for a 16^th place finish (51-runner field). In the 400m dash, Kate Conville and Chelsea Harris came in at 22^nd and 23^rd, respectively with times of 1:01.91 and 1:01.98.

Ashley Stump posted the top Explorer time in the 800m with a 2:23.37 (PR) followed by a 2:25.67 from Kaylie McNally. They finished in 24^th and 28^th, respectively. Christa Strycharz came in 17^th (81-runner field) in the 1500m run, crossing the finish line at 4:52.03, less than three seconds outside a PR.

Alyssa Mullen posted her top time of the season in the steeplechase with a 11:35.20, good for a sixth place finish (17-competitor field). Kendra Barker jumped a personal best 1.56m in the high jump to secure a sixth place finish (21-competitor field) in the event.

The Explorer women will compete again next weekend in Charlotte, N.C. at the Atlantic 10 Championships.
