PHILADELPHIA – Meghan McGlinchey will compete at the NCAA Preliminary Championships on Thursday after qualifying for the 10,000m run. McGlinchey will look to be the first Explorer woman to reach the NCAA Final Round Championships since Rachel Papin qualified in 2007.

The West Deptford native ran her best 10,000m time of the season on March 30 at the Stanford Invitational, crossing the finish line at 34:39.94.

McGlinchey's PR in the event was clocked a year earlier at the same event, registering a 33:46.04. She is the current A-10 record holder in the outdoor championships, posting a time of 34:57.58 at the event in 2012.
