PHILADELPHIA –Larry Connell, who served the past nine years as the head men's and women's rowing coach at La Salle University, has resigned his position, director of athletics Dr. Tom Brennan announced today.
 
“We thank Larry for his dedicated service to our rowing program and wish him nothing but the best in the future,” Brennan said.
 
Connell was previously an assistant at Penn for 19 years and at Rutgers for five years.
 
A national search will be conducted for his replacement.
