Scouting the Explorers
The Explorers split a pair of contests last weekend, falling 2-1 to Pacific before knocking off Liberty by the same score on Sunday. Both Olivia Shoemaker and Maddy Tettelbach recorded three-point weekends with one goal and one assist apiece. Tettelbach assisted on Shoemaker's goal against Pacific before Shoemaker helped on Tettelbach's game winner in a 2-1 win over Liberty. Freshman Judith Sweere also notched her first collegiate goal, the equalizer in the come-from-behind win over the Flames.
Shoemaker is tied for fourth in the Atlantic 10 with 13 points on the season. Tettelbach and senior Mariel Papa are tied with each other for seventh in the A-10 with 10 points this season.
Olivia Leaman is tied for third nationally and leads the A-10 with four defensive saves this season. In goal, Lisa Shaffer leads the league in saves per game (8.25) while ranking eighth nationally in that category.

Scouting the Quakers
Penn enters Wednesday's contest with a 4-1 record after winning a pair of games last weekend. The Quakers are coming off of a big 7-0 win over Pacific a day after edging Cornell 4-3 in the Ivy League opener. Their lone loss this season was a 2-1 setback to Bucknell on Sept. 15.
Rookie Jasmine Cole has been tearing it up for the Quakers, leading the squad with eight goals this season. She was named this week's Ivy League Co-Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week after recording her second hat trick of the season. Emily Corcoran is second on the team with 13 points on five goals and three assists and Elise Tilton is up to 10 points on five goals.
Keeper Carly Sokach is sporting a 2.20 goals against average and .766 save percentage.
