Women's Soccer Gears Up For Home-Opening Weekend

PHILADELPHIA—La Salle women's soccer kicks off its home-opening weekend at 7 p.m. Friday night when they play host to American University and look to improve to 3-1 on the season. On Sunday, the Explorers will square off against the Thundering Herd of Marshall University at 1 p.m.  Both games will be streamed through GoExplorers.TV.

Scouting the Explorers

The Explorers earned their first two wins of the season to capture the 2013 Fairfield Inn by Marriot Invitational title outright, but dropped a hard-fought game at 2012 NCAA College Cup runner-up #9 Penn State on Sunday. La Salle has amassed a 13-1-1 record at home over the last two seasons, a record they will look to improve on Friday.

Junior Kelsey Haycook has paced the Explorers offensively, scoring a goal in each of La Salle's outings this season.
