PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's soccer team wraps up their home schedule tonight as they host the George Mason Patriots at McCarthy Stadium at 6 p.m.
Scouting the Explorers (9-4-2, 5-0)The Blue and Gold are alone atop the A-10 conference standings after road wins over Dayton and Saint Louis last weekend to move to 5-0 in A-10 play. La Salle's win over Dayton marks the first time the Flyers have lost a home conference matchup since October 21, 2007.
For their performances this weekend,
Kelsey Haycook was selected as A-10 Co-Player of the Week while
Paige McDowell was named a Primetime Performer by College Soccer 360. Haycook scored the game-winner in both contests while McDowell helped shutout Dayton and hold the Billikens to a penalty kick goal.
Senior
Maryam Huseini now has
33 career assists, needing just one assist to set the all-time record for the women's soccer program. The senior tied the all-time assists mark on Sunday with a helper on Haycook's game-winner in the 86
th minute to beat Saint Louis.
The Explorers will honor

Jessica Wiggins,
Emily Fenton,
Maryam Huseini,
Kelsey Haycook and
Gabriella Carbone at 5:45 p.m. as part of their Senior Day ceremony.
Scouting the Patriots (3-9-2, 1-2-2)George Mason is coming off a 2-1 loss to Duquesne on Friday. Erin Mitchell scored the equalizer to tie the game with less than two minutes remaining in the first half before a goal in the 68
th minute lifted the Dukes.
The Patriots tallied wins over American and Appalachian State earlier this season, and their lone win in conference play came against Saint Louis.
