GENEVA, Ohio – Mattias Glenesk and 
Johan Roth each registered top-four finishes in their respective events on Thursday morning at the Atlantic 10 Championship preliminaries. In all, six Explorers qualified for tonight's finals in three different events.
Glenesk swam a 4:30.75 in the 500-yard freestyle, coming in third. He swam the best time of any freshman in the event. 
Stefan Sharpe clocked a 4:33.12 (PR) in the event, placing 11
th and qualifying for tonight's finals.
Sean McCall swam a 4:37.32, good for seventeenth. 
Greg Fischer (4:39.86) and 
Taylor Jeronis (5:01.82) came in 22
nd and 36
th, respectively.
Johan Roth finished fourth in the 200-yard individual medley, posting a 1:51.15 (PR). He paced the Explorers, as three others placed in the top-11. 
Kip Gravel (1:51.44, 8
th), 
Cameron Fadley (1:51.68, 9
th), and 
Strahinja Stankovic (1:51.76, 11
th) each ousted their seed times and qualified for the finals in the event.
Jerry Gravel (1:53.56) and 
Marcus Cloutier (1:53.57) came in 19
th and 20
th, respectively.
Jonathan Cabral was the lone Explorer to qualify for the finals in the 50-yard freestyle, touching the wall at 20.93 (PR), good for 12
th. 
Cameron Cabrera swam a 21.82, coming in 25
th.
The sextet of Explorers will compete in their respective finals this evening beginning at 6:30 PM.Â
