Madden Announces Incoming Rowing Class of 21 Student-Athletes

PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Rowing Head Coach Tom Madden has announced a well-rounded and decorated group of 21 student-athletes who will join the program in the fall. The group includes 13 from the rowing-heavy South Jersey region, as well as three from Pennsylvania and one each from Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee and Washington, D.C.

"We are very excited about this incoming group and the immediate competitiveness that they will bring to a hungry group of returning athletes," Madden said.

The 21 student-athletes will join a group of rowers who made large strides in Madden's first year at the helm, including strong performances from both the men's and women's varsity eight boats at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta in May.
