MORGANTOWN, W.Va -The La Salle women's soccer team fell 4-1 to the No. 21 West Virginia Mountaineers at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium on Friday night.
 

The Mountaineers took a 3-0 lead early in the first half, striking in the 13th minute before adding a goal in the 30th minute and another in the 33rd minute.
 

Kelsey Haycook answered for the Explorers with a goal on a free ball in the 41st minute to make it a 3-1 game. The senior is now just one point shy of tying Amy Schneider's mark of 113 points for the all-time lead. 
 

The Mountaineers made it a 4-1 game in the 44th minute to shift the momentum back in their favor at the break, and the second half played scoreless for both sides. 
 

The Blue and Gold are back in action on Sunday afternoon as they host the undefeated Temple Owls at 3 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
