WILLIAMSBURG, Va
- After scoring three goals in the final eight minutes of regulation, the La Salle Explorers earned a 3-3 draw with William & Mary at Martin Family Stadium on Thursday night.

Senior forward Kelsey Haycook tied the game at 3-3 in the 89th minute to force overtime, heading a cross from Gabriella Carbone into the upper right corner.

The Explorers (1-2-1) rallied from a 2-0 deficit late in the second half, getting on the board with a header from Jessika Kagan at 83:00 in the second half.  Kristin Haugstad struck in the 88th minute to tie the game at 2-2, punching a goal past the keeper into the top right corner.

"That last 15 minutes of the game was unbelievable, the kids were putting balls in areas where we could be successful, and players were stepping up," said head coach Paul Royal. "We had three world class goals."

The Tribe (1-1-1) took a 3-2 lead at the 87:55, just 14 seconds after Haugstad's goal, to set the stage for Haycook's dramatics.

Haycook finished with four points after the game-tying goal and assists on the goals from Kagan and Haugstad. Maryam Huseini also recorded an assist on the goal by Kagan.

The Tribe took a 1-0 lead in the final minute of the first half when Haley Kavanaugh found the back of the net on an assist from Samantha Cordum with 29 seconds remaining in the opening half. W&M made it 2-0 in the 61st minute on a goal from Sami Grasso.

The Explorers are back in action on Sunday afternoon at McCarthy Stadium as they host the Pittsburgh (3-2-0) Panthers.
