Scouting the ExplorersLa Salle will look to even out its conference record after picking up a win over George Washington following losses to George Mason and UMass to start A-10 play.
Cleon Roberts has started the past seven games for the Explorers, and has responded by scoring in double figures in each of the last five games. The redshirt sophomore has hit a three-pointer in his last 12 games and is shooting 23-for-48 (.479) from long-range during that span.
Amar Stukes scored a season-high 13 points against UMass on Wednesday in his first career start, finishing 6-for-7 from the floor with an assist and steal while not turning the ball over in 30 minutes of action.
Defense continues to be the key to success for La Salle this season. The Explorers are limiting opponents to an average of 57.7 points per game and a 37.2 field goal percentage in their nine wins compared to 69.0 ppg and a 50.3 field goal percentage in seven losses this season. The Explorers held George Washington to just 15 field goals on 38 attempts on Saturday. The 15 made field goals tied a season-low allowed by the Explorers while 38 marks the least shots attempted against them all season.
Scouting the FlyersDayton is one of three teams remaining in the Atlantic 10 yet to lose a conference game. The Flyers have won all three conference games by at least 17 points, kicking off the season with a win over Duquesne before grabbing two wins on a road trip in New York over St. Bonaventure and Fordham.

Offensively, Dayton has been equally as efficient as they lead the A-10 in field goal percentage in conference play (57.4%) and are second with a 47% clip from behind the arc. Dayton features three of the conference's top 12 scorers in conference play with senior Jordan Sibert leading the way by averaging 17.3 points per contest. Junior Dyshawn Pierre and sophomore Scoochie Smith arel averaging 15.7 and 15.0 points, respectively.
