Field Hockey Welcomes St. Joe's, Towson To DeVincent Field

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle field hockey team, winners of three of its last four contests, returns to DeVincent Field for contests vs. Saint Joseph's on Friday and Towson on Sunday. 

Scouting the Explorers
- La Salle has won three of its last four games, including Sunday's 2-1 victory at VCU. 

- The Explorers have won nine of their past 11 games at DeVincent Field.

- Jenica Miller had a goal and an assist at VCU and now leads the team with nine points (1g, 7a). The seven assists are tied for ninth most in program history in a season. She is second in the A-10 in assists.

- Rachel Hartman is third in the A-10 in saves with 61. 

- La Salle has won three of the last four meetings with the Hawks.

Scouting the Hawks


- Saint Joseph's has been involved in numerous close games as half of its games have been decided by one goal (3-3 record). 

- The Hawks are 4-0 at home and 1-7 on the road.

- Anna Willocks, a freshman from New Zealand, leads the team in points (21) and goals (nine). Jenny Morris has 13 points on five goals and three assists.

Scouting the Tigers

- Towson has been off since a 9-0 loss at Hofstra last Sunday.

- Stacey Mackintosh and Morgan Skavdahl lead the team with three goals each.

- Towson's two wins this fall have come against Lehigh (4-2) and Georgetown (2-1).

- The Tigers finish out their season with four of their last five games on the road.

Next Up:

La Salle makes its final road trip of the season next weekend when it visits UMass and Bryant.
