PHILADELPHIA – La Salle returns to Tom Gola Arena as it welcomes George Washington and George Mason this weekend. They face the Colonials on Friday at 7 p.m. and the Patriots on Sunday at 1 p.m.

-George Washington enter the weekend coming off two straight losses to Saint Louis (3-2) and Dayton (3-0) last weekend. The loss to the Flyers was the first time all season that the Colonials failed to win at least one set.
-The Colonials lead the Atlantic 10 and rank 12th nationally with 192 total blocks on the season. Junior Chidima Osuchukwu leads the nation with 113 blocks and ranks 29th nationally with 292 kills on the year.
-The Colonials are currently tied for third place in the Atlantic 10 with a 3-2 record. Last season they finished with an 11-3 conference record and reached the title game of the Atlantic 10 Championship before falling, 3-1, to Dayton.
-Senior Jordan Timmer ranks fifth in the conference averaging 9.90 assists per set in conference play on the year.
-Senior Maddy Doyle is tops in the conference averaging 4.15 digs per set against conference opponents on the year. She is second with 83 total digs in conference play so far on the year.

-George Mason comes into the weekend with a 1-4 conference record. They picked up their sole win over VCU (3-1), while dropping 3-0 decisions to Saint Louis and Dayton and 3-1 losses to George Washington and Davidson.
-Redshirt senior Lola Owokoniran ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and 39th nationally with 83 blocks on the season.
-Senior Morghan Martin ranks eighth in the league averaging 3.44 kills per set in league play. Classmate Jelena Cobanovic leads the team with 2.89 digs per set against A-10 opponents.  
-The Patriots have struggled to contain opposing hitters so far this year. They rank last in the Atlantic 10 allowing conference foes to hit .263 against them.     
-Junior Tiffany Clark tallied 11 total blocks against Penn earlier this year, this is the most by any Atlantic 10 player in a single match on the year.

Scouting the Explorers...

- La Salle enters the weekend leading the Atlantic 10 and ranking 13th nationally with 127 aces on the year.
-Sophomore Bryanna Davis ranks fifth in the Atlantic 10 averaging 3.78 kills per set in league play. Freshman Madison Kuch is also in the top 10 averaging 3.00 kills per frame.
-Freshman Jensen Sharrits leads the league by averaging 4.24 digs per set so far this year.
-Kuch recorded 21 kills in a tight 3-2 loss at Fordham this past weekend. The 21 kills is tied for fourth most in league play by an Atlantic 10 player this season.  
-Sophomore Hannah McGary (.50) and freshman Madison Kuch (.44) both rank in the top 7 in the conference in service aces per set in conference play.

Next Up

La Salle hits the road for a three game road trip. The Explorers wrap up their nonconference schedule with a Tuesday 6 p.m. match at Maryland Eastern Shore. They then head south for a weekend conference series as they face VCU on Friday and Davidson on Sunday.
