SAINT LOUIS – The La Salle women's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw in double overtime with the Saint Louis Billikens in Atlantic 10 action on Sunday afternoon at Hermman Stadium.

Maci Bower tied the game at 1-1 in the 8th minute with her second goal of the season after the Billikens took an early lead. The freshman fired the ball past SLU keeper Hanna Benben from 10 yards out following a long run down the pitch.
Saint Louis wasted no time getting on the board, taking a 1-0 lead on a Danielle Thomas goal in the 3rd minute.
Larisa Zambelli made three saves on the afternoon, none bigger than the stop of a shot from Thomas in the 108th minute. Zambelli faced 16 shots and three corner kicks in the game.
The Explorers took 13 shots for the day, putting six on target against Benben. La Salle controlled corner kicks 4-3 in the game.
The Explorers conclude their regular season with a pair of A-10 games this week, starting with a road match at George Mason on Thursday before they host Duquesne on Sunday for Senior Day.
