Field Hockey Wraps Up Regular Season This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle field hockey team will wrap up its regular season this weekend with a Friday contest vs. Saint Francis and Sunday's game with Columbia. Sunday is Senior Day and the program will honor seniors Juliana Carfagno, Jenica Miller, Emily Vasey and graduate student Jamie Schlotterer.

Scouting the Explorers
- La Salle needs a win over Saint Francis to keep its A-10 Tournament hopes alive in the last weekend of the season. 

- The Explorers have averaged 2.5 goals per game in their last eight contests. In the previous eight games, La Salle averaged 1.0 goals per game.

- Kendall Kreider leads the team with five goals and 13 points. 

- Jenica Miller has a team-best eight assists, which ranks third in the A-10 this season. It is  the sixth most in a single season by an Explorer.

- Rachel Hartman is second in the A-10 in saves (82)..

Scouting the Red Flash

- Saint Francis has won five of its last six games, outscoring opponents 17-1 in the five wins. 

- Selena Adamshick leads the Red Flash with 10 goals, six assists and 26 points. Irene Fritschy has nine goals and six assists for 24 points. They rank third and fourth, respectively, in the A-10 in points.

- Saint Francis leads the A-10 in scoring margin (1.26), shots (241) and shutouts (eight).
