BRONX, N.Y – The La Salle men's soccer team fell 3-0 to the Fordham Rams at Jack Coffey Field on Saturday afternoon.
Jannik Loebe put Fordham, the defending Atlantic 10 champions, in front 1-0 in the 11th minute. The sophomore fielded a cross from Andres Penfold in the middle of the box and found the back of the net from 14 yards out.
Loebe's younger brother, Janos, scored just before the half and again after the break to extend the Fordham lead to three goals late in the second half. The freshman made it 2-0 in the 44th minute, collecting a pass from Ryan Walsh and scoring from about 10 yards out on the right side.
Janos Loebe made it a three-goal game in the 69th minute on assists from Walsh and Jannik Loebe, sending the ball off the left post for his fourth goal of the year.

Ryan Nork each had a shot for La Salle (4-6-1, 0-1 A-10) while Fordham (3-4-3, 1-0 A-10) fired 11 shots against La Salle keeper

The Explorers return home next week as they host the Duquesne Dukes on Wednesday night at McCarthy Stadium at 7 PM.
