FAIRFAX, Va. - The La Salle men's rowing program had two boats compete at the Head of the Occoquan on Saturday.
The men's varsity eight+ finished 10th out of 24 boats with a time of 16:40.86. Delaware won the event in a time of 15:39.32.
The rowers included
Grant Maddock (cox),
Kieran Hughes,
Jack Schall,
Kyle Adams,
Marqus Brown,
Jake Fabel,
Waleed Omar,
Zach LaBarth and
Andrew Bloh.
The lightweight eight+ won the two-boat race, beating Pitt. Its time (16:53.54) would have been 12th in the Championship eight race.Â
