Box Score DAVIDSON, N.C. – The La Salle women's soccer team fell to the Duquesne Dukes 2-1 in the Atlantic 10 semifinal on Friday night at Alumni Soccer Stadium. 

Duquesne's Katie O'Connor scored the game-winner in the 78th minute on a cross from Danya Fenech to break a 1-1 tie. 

Duquesne used a penalty kick to take a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute, but the Explorers wasted little team tallying the equalizer. Marykate Bateman tied the game with her second goal of the tournament, scoring in the 24th minute following a La Salle corner kick. 

Jessika Kagan tallied her second assist of the tournament on the score, sending a corner kick to Paige McDowell near the top of the box. McDowell flicked it down to Bateman, who slipped it past a charging Duquesne keeper into the back of the net. 

The Explorers outshot the Dukes 20-13 in the game and put eight shots on goal compared to five for Duquesne.
